The one thing I dislike about the show compared to the books are what they are doing with Jamie's character.

In the book, they are trying to redeem his character and when he found out that Cersei was a smut, he willingly left King's Landing. Martin seems to have a clear direction with him in the books. In the show, it's like he can't figure out whether he wants to be go or bad, and even after all this time, his character hasn't grown past being a lapdog for Cersei.
