This podcast I listen to made good points about bringing Jon back to life. First, if he's going to be brought back to life, it has to be soon given bodies start to rot pretty quickly. Secondly, his direwolf being so prominent in the episode is probably because he will play a part in his resurrection. He'll have to be sacrificed or maybe Jon warged into him or something.
