I'm moreso disappointed that Jon fell for the okey doke so easily. We've watched his evolution from bastard afterthought to a leader of men, but one mention of Benjn and he runs blindly into the setup. Jon had enough self awareness to know the sentiments toward him and he should've been leery of some out the blue shit about Benjn. Stannis is a fuck boy if Swole Bitch killed him or not so until further notice Bronn the last real nigga left in Westeros.

But...but they played the happy hopeful music. How could he not fall for it?

Varys had his chest poked out all of a sudden when he showed up talking to tyrion. He is mos def bout to show his hand now.

Even if Jon Snow lived there's no point for him in Castle Black where he'd be surrounded by enemies. It'd be tough to continue from there - he couldn't get back Winterfell as a bastard, there's no point siding with Stannis and Jon is too noble to bend the knee to the king who scorched his daughter. Even if he warned other houses of the horrors beyond the Wall no one would believe him and he'd be tried for deserting the Night's Watch and beheaded. He'd be a fugitive/rebel so no one would back him. If not for the prophecy/theory about his parents blinding fans, they'd have foreseen his demise sooner or later. Jon would have either died at the Wall against the White Walkers or North of the Wall.

I don't think the prophecy holds any weight to the show like it might the books. In the show they RARELY if ever talked about the 3 dragon prophecy or any of the shit regarding Snow's parentage, in no season did they ever hint at it. That shit was manifested by the internet. That's what made him so much easier to kill. He might survive in the books but iuno.

The show and the books are basically the same story being told but from diff perspectives, so i don't see how they could reconcile the two if a major character such as jon dies in one medium and not the other

There have been plenty of subtle and not so subtle hints that Jon is not Neds son in both the show and books...in the show they can't dwell on it without making it too obvious

And its no coincidence the red witch, who has had a strong fascination with jon, is back at castle black around the time of his stabbing

And why introduce thoros, lord beric and the brotherhood of no banners on the show , if they arent going to play a major role ...OR we aren't going to see a major character resurrected by the god of the light...seems to me they were a plot device used to get the audience reacclimated with the fact in their world it is possible to resurrect the dead

If you're right...that would mean the show runners and martin himself wasted a ton of time building up jons character...

I dunno, cant believe that it all is for nothin...martin is asshole and good at misdirection...but he's deliberate ...mostly every character, every action so far has served a purpose in the grand scheme of things...if jon were to just be no more, his character would amount to being just filler

Hell, even my nigga Hot Pie had served a purpose...without him Brienne would have never headed towards the Riverlands after Arya eventually running into her and the Hound...which set into motion Aryas voyage to Bravoos

And kit doesn't necessarily have to be lying, the Jon Snow we know now could be dead and gone ...however he could come back with a whole new persona season 7... something like lady stone heart, but less vengeful

These internet theories weren't created out of thin air...plenty of evidence in the books, show that suggest jon is the prince who has dragons blood that was promised....lol

Didn't the people at HBO already figure out who Jon Snow's parents were? Pretty sure I read that they solved it and that is one of the reasons GRRM has trusted them with so much creative licensing. So it seems clear that 1. Jon Snow's lineage is important to the story 2. That it is something that had to be figured out. Nobody buying that tavern slut story. 3. That it is probably something that tons of people have figured out, not just the HBO folks.

Like I said before, the Iron Throne is virtually anyone's game at this point. But got dayum I HOPE Jon Snow fucking survives, for the sake of the TV show. This season was lukewarm compared to the last one. If not for my son fighting the white walkers this season would have been the worst one.

This may be a reach but this is what I think caused the doom of valyria. They briefly mentioned that awakening dragons increased the strength of magic everywhere or something like that. Valyrian's ruled the east for a long time. Shortly after they found dragons all of a sudden the white walkers popped up in westeros. Valyrian's weapons and dragon fire is the only thing that can kill white walkers. I think this is when the many face god aka the 7 worshipers, stepped in. They destroyed them using magic to stop this process. But the targaryens were the only ones to survive because the lord of the light saved them(that targaryen chick had a vision and sent them away). Aegon targaryen and his sisters all of a sudden go to take over westeros. Which just so happens to have been taken over by the many face god aka the 7(except the north). They arm lots of people with weapons from their homeland. Aegon and the last of the dragons die. Fast forward to the current timeline after dany hatches the dragons eggs. All of a sudden the white walkers pop up again ready for war.

I don't know bruh, I think brienne is gonna be on some "killing you will be too easy, it would be much worse for you to live in your misery". Brienne is noble like that. I think stannis has a greater purpose. I think sandras vision was only right about stannis taking out the boltons(banners burning). He's probably gonna die after doing some G shit like that.

So what is it then? They been saying it since the first episode. It's obvious that "winter is coming" means the white walkers. You got to watch them back stories to really see it. Long before everything we're watching now happened. The white walkers came to fuck everything up and got defeated by the first men and the children of the forest. After that the magic wall was built to keep them out and everyone lived happily ever after. Over many years people started to forget about the threat and started fighting amongst themselves. That brings us to where we are now in the show. Now the threat's coming back and so is all that magic and shit. Open yo mind gabi, open yo miiiiind.

Well this is obvious at this point but I think it's more to him than that. I watch way too many of these type of shows. A guy like him always has a big reveal in the end. He been around since the start creeping around and is a main character. Not even mac little finger could figure out his end game. If you peeped, tyrion is kinda suspicious of him too. I highly doubt he's been around this long and has eyes and ears everywhere. All just to look out for dany. We will see in season 6. I also think something is up with old dude who been walking around faking like he sick in kings landing.

This is what I was going to ask next..... So somebody has to be related to Tommen in order to challenge his claim right ? Unless they crazy enough & got enough money to wage war on King's Landing/Tommen ?

Cuz one thing that never really made sense to me is why only Robert Baratheon and Ned waged war on the Mad King but somehow Robert got the throne in the end. If anything, seems like the death of the Warden of the North and Ned's dad and brother was enough for him to take the helm and sit on the Iron Throne. I never understood that. Why did they let Robert sit on the IT vs. Ned ?
