I think he's gonna be in for a rude awakening.

Just speculating, but he probably thought that movie he was in (Pompeii) was gonna make him a huge superstar and that he'd be able to use that as negotiating leverage for a salary increase on Game of Thrones.

Well.....the movie flopped.

So, if he truly is finished on the show.....he'll soon realize that all his fame is tied into the Game of Thrones franchise and that he's not as big of a star as he thinks he is outside of the show.

Basically, he has delusions of grandeur.
