Man after rewatching season one I don't feel bad for Sansa.

Not only do I not feel bad for her, I don't feel like she's been punished enough. She really thinks she's the innocent victim in all this.

I wish somebody would put together a stone flowchart or something, sit her down and really break it down move by move how she fucked over her family and destroyed their chances in the game. She needs to understand that nearly everything that's happened so far to the Starks is her fault. And that she doesn't deserve to share the same bloodline as true warriors like Jon and Arya.

Let's not get carried away here. The demise of the starks is mainly due to LF stirring shit up. Sansa played her role, as did everyone else doing shit they shouldn't have been doing (varys warning ned about digging into robert arryn death, cat taking tyrion hostage, robb not marrying the frey daughter)...but this is all LF. Lol

Mama Stark - Kidnap the imp when her husband told her ass to leave it alone. Then she set the king slayer free.

Papa Stark - This nigga was too fucking naive, trust worthy and loyal.

Actually, Sansa does deserve a lot of blame. I forget how clear it was made in the show, but in the books, Ned has plans to take Cersei unaware and it's implied he will be successful. Before he springs his plan, he tries to get Sansa and Arya away. Sansa doesn't want to go because she's in love with Joffrey, so she goes to Cersei and tells her all of Ned's plans. That's pretty much what killed any chance of Ned succeeding.

Anybody else ever stop and think how crazy it is that all this came from GRRM's head? I don't know anyone with 1/100 of his creativity.

Now, I will say the fact he's a fat ugly mothafucka probably helped, cause we know he damn sure wasn't spending his time on bitches. He probably spent 90% of his childhood locked in his room with nothing but his imagination. Makes you wonder what everyone would be capable of mentally and creatively without sex as a distraction.

We've got this whole world we're talking about, analyzing and contemplating the politics and history, over generations of people, land, creatures and relationships. And it's all make believe out of some fat dude's head.

Not saying anything negative, more just in awe of what the human mind is capable of.

Anybody know why they haven't implemented the Ser Beric Dondarrion plot in the show. Seems like they dropped the story once gendry got sold off. I was kind of wanting to see Cat return from the dead like in the books

Well to be fair, it's a lot easier to come up with stuff when you pattern it off of other things. A lot of this story borrows from other literature and the real world. I don't say that to knock Martin because all writers do that. But it puts it in perspective.

He'll prolly come back next season ? He and the Brotherhood without Banners are somewhat important to the Walder Frey storyline but I could see why they left them out, I mean they don't really do much other than lynch Red Wedding affiliates or the Freys. But maybe next season Gendry links up with them ? Maybe they have an angle with Stannis ? Who knows really.

Kinda interesting they showed them in the show but didn't incorporate Catelyn Stark as Lady Stoneheart.
