Idk man i think they were tryna show that while dayne was indeed that nigga in combat, ned wasn't no slouch with the sword either. He looked confused and like "why did you just do that?" when the other dude stabbed dayne in the back. You can't say a fighter like that got stabbed in the back. It fucks with his legacy too. That's why jaime didn't finish ned off. Both they reps woulda took a hit. Jamies was already fucked being the kingslayer but you know what im sayin...

Yeah I noticed that too, he could have slit his throat but he disarmed Ned instead... Ned was just a mere boy I don't think Dayne would have wanted that on his reputation especially Lyanna's brother of all people. If the Kingslayer is grimey as he still had that level of integrity to not kill Ned the first time cuz "it would have been unclean" and Dayne was considered to be the standard then I can only assume he'd a stalled him out....

Naw fam, Dayne was gonna put that nigga Ned to to sleep if his homie didn't step in. All things considered, Ned STILL would have rather died like a man than have his mans stab dude in the back. That's why he looked at him like that. But once the shit was done Dayne was on his knees bleeding out, Ned was basically just like 'Well shit, damage done already. I gotta off this nigga now.'.

Once it all played out, there really isn't any point in being like 'Yeah, me and my niggas ran up on Dayne and his niggas and gave them niggas that work. In the end, it was just Dayne vs. 4 of us. Dayne beat the shit outta all of us - including me - but Joey stabbed that nigga in the back and I killed him. I wanted it to be a fair one but shit happens!'.

Literally the ONLY logical thing to do is say that it was a clean victory and move on.

The Jon Snow/Widling/Castle Black uprising storyline was really compelling to me. But now that it has played out, I' glad he's back in the real world. I'm interested to see how he ends up fitting into all the craziness that has gone on with the Starks and the other houses.

You gotta think about it - this nigga knows NOTHING about what's happening with Arya, Sansa, Bran and Ricon (sp?). Matter fact, y'all help me out...what's the last thing he legit knows about the fate of his family? Robb and Catlyn getting murked at the red wedding? Does he even know about that?
