Bruh those are some long ass books unless you have a lot of free time ain't no way you finishing them by the 31st. Lol Storm of Swords the book season 3 is based on is 1200 pages.

God damn, I just got done reading a trilogy of books and all three together were only 989 pages. lol

Yeah the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series is hardcore. If you're not a reader.....it is not for you. I love the books tho...and the show makes it so much better IMO. Yeah some stuff may not be the same but it is one of the few TV/Film adaptations that truly tries to stick to the book. If they cut anything or change something its always for a valid reason. They don't change shit for the hell of it like True Blood.

With that said.........Mr. Martin need to hurry the hell up with The Winds of Winter.....he takes forever to finish books.

What you expect? His books are longer than the Bible. lol

A Song of Ice and Fire series >>>>> Lord of The Rings trilogy when it comes to fantasy, IMO. Real talk the first three books from the series(Game of Thrones, Clash of Kings, Storm of Swords... especially Storm of Swords) were on some GOAT shit. Too bad A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons were underwhelming compared to those three. The Winds of Winter is being hyped up to be the best of all the books that have come out so far real talk and I hope so.

Im About a quarter done with a Feast of Crows. Its dussappointing so far but I expected that anyway after Storm of Swords. But I agree, definitely one if the best Fantasy series.

You got any hope for the next two books to be as good as the first 3? I dont think it can get any better.

I hope so I just want to know what happens after the end of A Dance with Dragons... won't spoil it because well I don't like to think of it, but when you get there you're literally going to say FUCK THESE BOOKS, FUCK GRRM, FUCK ALL THIS SHIT I'M DONE. IMO opinion a dance of dragon is just as good as the first three. While reading a feast of crows I honestly skipped some povs shit was boring. If y'all like asoiaf try Malazan books of the fallen by Steven erikson just as epic and bloody but long read.

The preview chapters from TWOW (next book) got people mighty hype. So many ways it could go, but the major shit we gon see in season 4 of the show based on the later half of ASOS (book 3) could even be small by comparison. What's amazing is how you can go back and reread the earlier shit, and you just see how GRRM plants stuff early on, like when the chess player shuffles a pawn and "queens" it when it reaches the other side of the board.

When I was watching with my crew last season they looked my way like I was trippin' sometime. I'd see some shit that was gonna be nasty later on, sometimes only for a few seconds at that point and I kept my jib shut about it but couldn't hide feelins...

I haven't read the books, but I would never reccommend to anyone to start a series in the middle, especially not one as complex as this. Besides, it seems to be a common consensus that the first three books are the best, so it wouldn't make much sense to skip them.
