man its not even about snowden, i just dont understand how someone can just defend their government with all the bullshit they been doing, well shit i can understand if you a rich white person who profits from poor people in general.

He IS NOT no damn hero.

And anyone who hastily and naively labeled him as such are only projecting their OWN resentment,fear and paranoia of the government. Not to mention displaying their ignorance of the Law (The Patriot ACT ) that was implemented over 10 years ago.

But that's actually the LEAST of the concerns.

As I've brought the question up here and a couple other places:

so what of the other sensitive information of National Security Intelligence Snowden has possession of?

NO ONE has been able to give a proper rebuttal to this question.

The government, as well as Snowden and Glenn Greenwald themselves have all said

that Snowden has stolen information and top secrets on United States national security that goes well beyond the surveillance program

Yet the people hailing him as some champion have YET to address,comment or offer their opinions

as to WHY he and WHAT was his intentions of stealing THAT information

If a company frauds the FDA into thinking their drug is safe by doctoring up results do you think the man that comes out and speaks on it is a hero or traitor?

this is different tho...hes stopping people from being hurt an not knowing what they are putting in ther body....snowden is not stopping anything....

he is stating whats readily available for what the public is making him a hero for....which is privacy.

hes saying the govt is spying in its people an they call him a hero for bringing it to the forefront...really....only ignorant people would have thought otherwise. an besides i have nothing to hide from the govt..unless you trying to take the govt down what is it to hide.

i have the right to know what going on in my house....i wont peek thru the keyhole(unless pico is undressing) but i have the right to know.

everything else....the shit can be found online....so what did he really say to make him a hero if the people are giving away there privacy for free?

The extent at which they are doing it. And the fact that it's illegal. The government with all it's power, has to ILLEGALLY obtain this info. But they'll lock up a citizen for not paying taxes? How is this even a discussion? He is considered a traitor because he put everything into perspective. Chances are you are being monitored without a warrent which is illegal. Of course the government is outraged, snowden turned them into the bad guy. They overstepped their boundaries and got checked by 1 man. That's why they are mad.

who in returns uses the information that effects/affects the company to the point it ends up shutting down

Because he could just as well handled all that "in house". Meaning he could have offered up variable alternatives besides placing the entire company at risk. What? I don't exactly know. But you don't burn down the whole damn house.

Neither, it's a double sided coin. To the US agenda, yes he is a traitor. To those expecting this concept of "government transparency" and wishing to know the secrets we are being or allegedly being protected from, he is a hero.
