But i still cannot understand people that have accepted Patriot Act , have some mobiles, facebooks , instagram, twitter Psn xbox accounts are surprised that they are surveilled.

A US former soldier is outside the country with perhaps some secret infos snitching in Russia ( come on fam ) and some americans deem him as a hero?

It's about transparency; we as citizens should be able to have all the information and decide where we stand on if these practice are doing more harm than good or vice verse.

what about him wanting to speak with the germans who was sending "intelligence" people to see what was spied on?

what about him being in russia for protection, when they give there people rights?

what about him being in hong kong which is part of china...who also dont give there people rights?

The bolded is kinda making my point for me. Each American citizen needs to decide the answer to that question. What Snowden did was say, 'Hey look, this is happening!'. Now that we have the information, we can do with it what we will.

Your argument is more of, 'Is what the Government doing right or wrong?'. That ain't the topic. The topic is 'Is what SNOWDEN did right or wrong?' essentially.

As far as the underlined, I think we assume that we know his motivations behind all of that and I personally can't say that I do. Releasing the documents was pretty black and white; not a lot of interpretation needed with that. But to be honest, I can't make any sort of judgements based on the underlined without knowing his motivations. I can see what you mean about those actions seeming like the actions of a traitor...but those are very cage descriptions of what happened between him and the governments of those other countries.
