I feel like this show had a solid 2 seasons left of consistent material. With that said I hope they don't rush the final season, be nice if they gave them extra episodes or just make each episodes longer.

I don't think it was one of those mega ton nukes like the one that wiped out Hiroshima and Nakasaki.

The ones that were dropped in Japan weren't megatons either. They were around 15 kilotons. A suitcase nuke that terrorists might use would be around 10 - 20 kilotons. As the name implies a nuke like that would literally fit in a suitcase or backpack. That big ass bomb the master had would be a much higher yield.

That said, the bomb was detonated at the Statue of Liberty, so I guess that's remote enough to where the damage to the actual city wouldn't have been too crazy. Still, all those people walking around outside would have been fucked because they most definitely would have caught lethal doses of radiation. Check this shit out just for information:

That's just with a 100 kT bomb. You can play with the site and look at what would happen if an actually megaton bomb was used and centered on the actual city. That should would not be pretty.
