He's rappin almost exactly like he raps now...I hate y'all niggas...

I dont understand the hate Future gets either but I don't hear what you talkin' bout..he don't sound NOTHIN like that anymore.. with this he ain't got no trace of any melody and he was strictly flow, never even raised his voice

If you listen to "Deeper Than The Ocean", "Never Be The Same", "Go Harder", etc...He still raps the same...His cadence is the same when he raps now, and the content in the verse is the same shit he talks about now...He's actually gotten better far as crafting his bars/staying on beat...The singing/shouting is just shit he's added to his style over time...

If you're talking content, sure I'll give you that based off a few of his songs. But cadence/ flow?? No way. Even on deeper than the ocean his flow had more bounce to it and he would stop and do his melody thing. I gotta go back and listen to never be the same and go harder.

That "Da Connect" album was coo, but I knew it wasn't gonna pop off b/c Rico 's sound was dated by that time. Most tracks on there sounded like old Goodie Mob/Witchdoctor throwaways.... And I think Rocko is the one who got him to switch his whole style up, but he always saw something in him.

Back then he was known as Meathead in a group called Da Connect. They were known as 2nd generation Dungeon Family. Future is the 2nd person to rap at about (1:09) is on the hook, and also raps after the hook. This is around 2003. Shit kinda crazy to see how different his style is today.

cats looks like hot boy rejects lol

Shit, I thought he was good. He has one of the better Southern drawls in rap.

lol I don't get the point of hating on Future. You either like his particular sub-genre of rap or you don't. Go listen to your old Black Star records or something.

gladily dont gotta tell me twice lol

lol that aint his flow thats the BEAT !! lol listen to the accapella and see if you get the same bounce lol

I dont know what niggas expect, its the same damn nigga

he sound exactly the same just without the autotune

Back then he used to say actual words.

Now most the time all he does now is make noises "bluh bluh bluh, oooh oooh, urrr err errr, blerp blerp, bluhh. Turn up!!!"

S/N I like some of his music. He does good work on those hooks and whatnot. I take Future on a song by song basis, I wouldn't just go out and by a Future. Rather just go to iTunes and d/l select singles.
