FOH with that Good Morning track, but how are some of your surprised that Beyonce does not write every song? Singers don't have the hang up that rappers and some bands do, in regards to never admitting they don't write everything.

Most of the songwriters (prolific ones) ie Babyface, Max Martin, LA Reid, Jimmy Jam, R Kelly and Terry Lewis, Dallas Austin, etc have been the ones behind a lot of these female records (Tony Braxton, Celine Deon, Janet Jackson, TLC, Madonna, etc).

It's not an exception to the rule at all. I'm not even going back to artist like Diana Ross, Pati Labelle, etc. All those 50's and 60's acts signed to Motown and what not had a team of male righters behind them. (Smokey Robinson, Gamble and Huff, etc)

Dont forget Marvin Gaye

Beyoncé isn't exactly Adele. She's a pop singer, not a traditional straightforward singer-songwriter. She has co-writers on every single song from her last album. That "Mine" joint just sounds like a Drake song with Beyoncé doing the vocals. Same for "Superpower." It sounds like a Channel Orange leftover. Great song. I assume she has a big hand in writing her own lyrics though. In terms of melody, production, and song structure though, she's got a wicked team, the best in the business. That "Boots" guy she worked with straight bodied that album. He wrote that track "Ghost/Haunted," which is an incredible song. Beyoncé simply takes it to the next level with her falsetto.
