Flex's cornball antics aside, if Jay Z and Flex are the same age, came up in the hiphop game together, and are friends outside of the industry (at least in the sense that they talk on the phone or see each other outside of business situations), then Jay trying to "son" Flex over something is wack.

I have some friends I know from back in the day and, one in particular, became really successful. If I dropped his name on here, you would know who he is (but I won't). Even though dude is a multi-millionaire now and has a level of fame, if he ever tried to treat me or one of the other guys he grew up with like one of his employees, he would get corrected with the quickness.

That's why Jay Z has always be a funny style cat to me... too many stories of people who helped him get on when he was coming up that he has abandoned or done sucker isht to over the years... I'm not talking about guys who betrayed him or trying to shake him down for money (cut them cats off) but dude's whose mothers used to feed him when he was hungry and struggling... how you forget them them now?
