I don't take Lupe's comments as a Diss to Biggie. In other interviews he said that he was influenced by him and even made tribute songs to his flow. His point about Biggie was his lyrics were extremely violent and that is obviously true. If Lupe would of came out and said, "I don't fuck with Biggie and I don't dickride Biggie", Jay Z himself would of smacked him:

Exactly, Lupe got killed in the Hip Hop Media and Fanbase for his lack of knowledge and disrespect of Tribe. They are Hip Hop Legends who aren't dead yet. Everyone knows Pac and Biggie are like Rap GODS, Literally. You can say it's right or wrong for them to be put on a pedistal like that but the fact is Flex was on some wild ish for Hip Hop standards. But just from one man to another, dissing a dead brother wasn't even needed. Mind you Pac and Biggie are both dead cause of the beef so why even bring it back. The only thing I agree with, with those who are defending Flex, is Pac not being held accountable for his actions in the beef with what he said in "Hit Em Up". That song was negative energy, there's no doubt about it.

Flex chose the wrong words and also the way he played biggy and pac off one another. then he followed it up with a weak excuse, which to me was far worse than the original video.
