Again, like I said. I do not agree with Flex about this. Pac has been dead for 14 years. Biggie's 14th anniversary is in 3 more months. The Beef is over and I'm upset that Flex would even do something like this and mess up his great legacy as one of Hip Hop Best DJ's ever. Now everyone will remember the day he dissed a great Legend like Pac. But I'd be lying if I said that Pac didn't bring some negative energy with the dissing he was doing. I don't think anyone dissed as many rappers as Tupac did. Period.

Even 50 cent got nothing on Pac as far as disses. You have to understand, at lot of people on the East was queit back then, they didn't want the beef to get out of hand. Sure Mobb and a few others commented and Lil Kim did also but "Hit Em Up" was the record that took this thing to the point of no return. Pac even admitted he wasn't happy with how the media took the record and regretted that. So even Pac himself understand he may have went to far with that record. We can all look back and laugh at the song and video but let's be real, that song was released and 9 months later they were both dead. So though it's over and done with, I think more people espeically Pac's real fans need to accept he was not an angel in the beef.

Nigga negative engery has existed before Pac and after Pac...even if Pac had not existed there wud still be negative energy, so for flex to put the blame on pacs shoulders for the current state of hip hop is lame as fuck

Funk Flex does more negative shit than anyone on radio, he has 2 million listeners, is hip hops biggest radio dj and he promotes the most negative shit. Niggas forget how he eggs on 50cent and his beefs. He was laughing his head off when 50 took those pics with Ross kids. If this nigga is so against negativity then play some Talib Kweli or Common. Every time a beef comes around this nigga gets so excited, his dick gets hard for that shit.

Pac said what he had to say on Hit'em Up, for a man who had gone through all the shit he did in 95 you can see why a nigga wud be so negative...jail time, faced death, trial by media, hommies abandoning him, robbed etc...some niggas wud have just killed themselves...at the end of it all pac said himself in 96, we are businessman, if i see biggy it's not like we gonna start fighting.

Exactly my point but nobody dare mentions Pac saying he will kill peoples kids on wax. That's the only double standard I'm talking about. Like I said it's obvious Pac was upset, he almost lost his life and he knew people were trying to kill him (He was right, they got him 2 years after the 1st attempt). But that emotion caused him to say some things that I feel to many people give him a pass for. It's one thing to do a diss record and make fun of your foe. It's another to threaten the life of people's childern. If it was just a "Rap" battle, Pac wouldn't of said that line in "Hit Em Up". Like Biggie said, in real beef, Kids get kidnapped, raped and murdered. So even to Pac, this wasn't no rap beef and his lines in Hit Em Up proved it.

good read.......can anybody disprove this comment

"BIG -- I really liked "Ready to Die", but if he didn't have such good ghost writers (e.g. Craig Mack and Jadakiss), production from the likes of Easy Mo Bee and DJ Premier and the promotional genius of Puffy, he would have languished. *He* is the anti-Chino XL in a sense: he got hugely popular, and it wasn't on his own merits"

pac was saying thuglife before he got shot.....u gettin ur history from vh1?

thuglife was just a concept thought up between pac and his step father Mutulu Shakur, it was suppose to be like the hip hop black panthers with rules and regulations for the hood

unless u take the word thug literally like a whiteman?

Look, as I said, I understand Pac's anger, 94-96 was a crazy last 2 years of Pac's life. And I've said in the past, even though it was recorded before the shooting, Biggie and Puffy were wrong for releaseing "Who Shot Ya" a few months after Pac was shot. Horrible timing. But that doesn't mean Pac should of went as far as he did on "Hit Em Up". He took it to another level. As I said, people were trying to kill him so I understand his paranoia.

At the same time he did make mistakes during the whole rivialy. I actually think Pac brought more positive energy to the game than negative. But he did bring some negative energy with all the beefing ish. Flex just wants attention. He had no reason to diss Pac and big up Biggie. Just Big up Biggie and keep it moving. So again for the 1,000th time. I DO NOT AGREE WITH FLEX'S ACTIONS. I do agree that Pac was not as innocent as people try to make him out to be in the whole drama.

nigga u sound clueless, pac use to do shows promoting the essence of thuglife where they wud d bring crips and bloods together on some unity shit....that was the original idea.

after he got shot he denounced thug life, said yall better find someone else to rep that shit, "thuglife is dead to me" in his own words

you holding pac responsible for niggas being dumb? you gonna hold jay and big responsible for all that mafia gangsta drug dealin shit they was rappin about to the kids? niggas were promoting all that fantasy Italian shit to black youths...

pac nor any other rappers shud be held responsible to educate kids, if u a dumb nigga den thats ur fault,, i came up listening to pac, i aint no thug....i came up listening to nwa, i aint no cop killa,....

Another thing people need to remember is how young Biggie and Pac were. They were only 24 and 25, both young kats who were still growing. So I think everyone need to take that into consideration when thinking about their lyrics and decisions at the end of their lives.

Biggie died 3 months before his 25th Birthday

Pac died 3 months after his 25th Birthday

U can also add LL Cool J "I Shot Ya " remix that came out in 95 L threw shots at the west coast in his verse and the hook the title is self explanatory... Pac took it as a diss again horrible timing..
