Agreed...i fucks with Gibbs, but I didn't hear of him til he q&a on "do it for u". Im sure I ain't the only one.

Jeezy shouldn't have signed him if he wasn't gon push Gibbs like an artist should be, & Gibbs don't need to talking about the situation to the public. Being on CTE got him plenty of plug, just stay silent, keep it moving, & get that bread.

Edit: and he was throwing all rounds @ jae millz, gudda, gunplay, slick pulla, lil twist..etc.

Niggas that dont mind being the back up 2 guard for the Tulsa 66ers, or the Bakersfield Jam just so they can say they on the squad.

Good interview. Gibbs kinda reminds me of Z-ro as far as his personality.

Gibbs has a chip on their shoulder and it will always hold them back from being on the same level as t.i., ross, jeezy, etc. Like Ptown said, without jeezy A LOT of niggas would have never heard of him. I didn't hear about him till I heard The Real Is Back and he's one of my favorite rappers already.

Unfortunately, i think Gibbs' attitude and unwillingness to "sell out" or kiss ass is what's going to keep him from mainstream success...and call me selfish but I'm fine with that.

shots fired at a lot of mufuckaz in that interview..

Especially the reality show shit...lets see...Budden, Consequence, Scrappy, Jim Jones, can't think of who else.

Add T.I. and the Game to that list. Gibbs needs to put a address on that shit Budden, Consequence, Game, and T.I. all better and more respected rap wise than he is.

Good interview. Only thing is dude need to stop referring to everybody else as 'these rap guys'. You a rapper too nigga get over it. Yo Gotti being doing that 'I'm not a rapper' shit too

That's been the thing to say for the past decade or so...started with "I'm not a rapper I'm a movement" then "I'm not a rapper I'm a hustler" now it's anyway to say "I'm not a rapper, but I just make rap music"...shit sounds stupid coming from anybody

These dudes aint even in the same league. 1 of em got multiple platinum albums and gold albums and more hits than people can count. The other has no song i've really ever heard anywhere. But this site is backwards world. Hilarious yall this dude aint nowhere near Jeezy except in intangible ways. Anybody can say somebody is "better" I think the people have spoke overwelmingly on this one through they choose to actually listen to and support.

Yea, Gibbs has better bars than Jeezy.

Song writing skills? You know, the shit that makes you an artist? No
i'm not even sure what this is supposed to mean. he's an artist because he's making music. he might not be as commercially successful as Jeezy for whatever reason, but how does that mean he's not an artist?

all that being said, the notion of praising Jeezy for his writing skills is pretty ridiculous.
