Frank Ocean "Blonde" Album Thread

Im still diggin it. I could do without "Seigfried", "White Ferrari", and "Pretty Sweet". But other than those, the whole album is dope with the standouts being "Solo", and "Night". I didnt always need the little high pitched voices on a couple tracks, but surprisingly they dont ruin anything. The last half of "Futura Free" is just unnecessary, but the first half is another standout. I hate the "Be Yourself" interlude, but whatever I guess.

Overall, I think its better than Channel Orange, and I dont get the "boring" stuff. Frank Ocean was never gonna drop a trap album. Not sure what some were expecting with that.

What led you to make this statement? I'm tryin to understand cause I'm sure nobody was expecting that. Channel Orange was better music and was more listenable than this. Niggas out here making outlandish comments.

Wasn't feeling it all like that. It got better after a couple listens but it's way too down tempo for me, especially with the fact that he's not a good vocalist you don't want to hear a bunch of ballads. The production and sound on Channel Orange was way more innovative to me.

Don't get why everyone is down on this album. It's not great but it's not bad, just like his 1st album..

Dude has the potential to be great but doesn't appeal to me..
