I took him back, however, things were not the same. Thoughts of him being intimate and sharing himself plagued my thoughts every time I laid with him...I couldnt take it, and just left. I didn't forgive and forget. In the present day, the same rule applies. Once burned, I'm done.

Basically it was sort like u said, after I had did all the dirt that I did, it came back to bite me. SHIT hurt, but after a while I had to look in the mirror and examine all the SHIT I did n ask myself, what type of man would I b if I didn't forgive her. I forgave her, never forgot, we ended up parting ways for other reasons about 2 years later

In all honesty, you really never know until you put in that position. You can say you'd forgive, or you'd end it, but ultimately it comes down to how much you value that person. I do think the more you go thru with someone, and the longer it lasts, the more likely you'll at least try to work it out.

Like I said, I couldn't say until I'm put into the situation. But how I actually out, who I find it out from, whether it was a one time thing/an affair, and how much we have between us would all definitely factor in.
