Martyr for the world to see

the harsh reality of a flawed system

deep within the system pours open pure white

pick scabs resembling black

ITS AN ATTACK open your eyes

the blood lies on the hands of those in demand

living in the higher ups thinking they can judge

and put souls through the higher ups....

or downs as these mortals frown and drown

in tears of laughter and anger

meanwhile peace and prosperity is far from the eye

no lie I packing my bags and wanna fly

can't deny a whole country full of lust, greed, and corruption

the assumption that a man murdered without a bit of nothing

to account for the fact that maybe just maybe YALL OVERREACTED

just a tad bit and its a sad bit of affairs

taking views and stares

scoffs and jeers

give him years and the chair

doped him up because its the “darkie” way

send him to hell because that's where the “darkies” stay

and lay to face the ultimate judgment

the audacity to have this man convicted and ridicule

because you didn't have the facts and went by stereotypical

got the nation reminiscing over you

but yet what is the nation going to do?

Archive it and accept the system?

Put it in the back of minds and not seek wisdom?

That maybe just maybe we as a whole need better

revolution...or whatever

something to battle this dead horse that bleeds lies and hypocrisy

instead of justice and liberty

but who I'm to speak of these things

just a human being want to see peace and unity

no murdering, robbery of our culture, destiny and creed

forgiveness through time and not murdering of humanity

God creates wrath to take care of the guilty

WHO YOU TO BE GOD....

yet you pull the switch and let the blood reign free

another dead and gone...for liberty and justice for all

yo you mirror what I wanna write like on the real homie....the words you use, perfect

Damn, this was a great piece, sounds inspired by some serious injustice which causes a lot of grief and anger and I can feel your pain towards this issue as I read…

Great piece :tu I really like 'where the 'darkies' stay, rhymed really well and was definitely that dumbed out comment that fit the purpose of what you were trying to get across really well :tu

I on't think it's really no justice here in America, let alone the world. It's not better ruler than Jah..

Thanks for the props yall...I really needed to get that off of my chest...I was indifferent on capital punishment for a while until I look deeply into this case...and others where folks that are innocent to the core have to suffer the abuse of man laws and not god's judgement...it really pisses me off when time of regret, remorse, and redemption for a being can't be taking to consideration but death is the final solution...regardless of innocence, circumstance, pity, or even the simple thought that a higher power can judge such things...enough of my 2 cents lol...thanks for checking for this piece yall...I love this place for not only the poets/poetess that express themselves with pure honesty but simple fact that HONESTY is the key in the poetry that pours out of the WTE
