Moving out of state by this summer, any advice for my big move. Im looking at TX, SC, or TN, depending on which job offer is the best. If yall need more information to determine your answer you can just ask.

need you to finalize the list so that people can give specific advice

if you want something in general, move any junk at night when nobody can see that couch with the flower print during the day

I live in nc and as far as sc if you moving to greenville, columbia or any other town close to charlotte then you will find stuff to do for somewhere your age. Charleston alright too. My people live in TX and as the hundreds of posters up here will tell you that state has a lot to offer but tn I dont know about.

I wiould go with texas because if you live in Georgia already SC and TN aint gon be that big a change. I want to move to TN, Fl or somewhere up north myself for pretty much the same reasons except independency already got that.

Single

No kids

First time moving

Career change-I have a BA in psych, grad school fall 2015 so want a better job and more money

change of environment- been in ga all my life, no responsibilities so able to explore

What part of Ga are you from? Anything outside of the ATL and anything will be good to you. Augusta, Macon, Savannah, or Valdosta.

If you are in the ATL then only Texas will do. Charlotte is ATL-lite. Even though Nashville is nice I heard.

My advice? Move as far away as possible. I feel like every young person should, at some point, get up and get far away from their comfort zone and jump in with both feet.

Knoxville is a nice midsize city. U of T, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge close. If you are a homebody you will be good. It is much slower there. Think Athens(UGA) in North Georgia. It will snow and get cold. I had a supervisor from there.

There is a poster here from Chattanooga.
