I'm not a Big Sean basher, but 'Gwap' was not a good lead single imo. It jus didn't really have "it". Out of ALL the songs u recorded, yo team decided 2 run with that?!? If anything, I would have put 'Gwap' on Detroit and put 'Mula' out as my 1st single (basically switched it around) b/c it was more suited 4 radio/club spins to me. I do agree w/ t/s that Detroit could have been an LP w/ a few changes here and there.

I agree w/ t/s on Krit except for the flashy part. He can be himsef and still make some noise, jus needs 2 be "out there" more in the public eye. He does have the Crown Royal endorsement/commercial working 4 him, but he needs a better team to take him to another level b/c they're all but tapped out.

As for MGK, I never got into him and I'm pretty sure I never will.

I always thought the same thing.....that Mula should've been the street single just to get everyone hyped for the album....He was smart enough to make a remix and put it on HoF but it wasnt a single tho.

Meek Mill. I don't know if it's management or his label, but He had the two biggest summer joints (Tupac Back and I'm A Boss), three if you count House Party, in 2011. Instead of him dropping his album, you put out a label compilation (Self Made Vol 1), a mixtape (DreamChasers), and then Wale's Album. After that, you have another big single (Amen ft Drake) and you put out ANOTHER mixtape (DreamChasers 2) and THEN an album a couple months after that. If that is not mismanagement I don't know what is.

In his first record deal, Nas was getting 23pts an album. Basically, all he had to sell was 60,000 units to start recouping. So you do the math on that, I'd say he's doing ok. Should've never married that bitch tho...
