Final Fantasy finally got another black main character.

I am a bigger fan of Chrono trigger, I think it is a better RPG, but anyway I haven't played final fantasy for a minute. Does the storyline follow the same characters or do the characters change from game to game with maybe a few holdovers and is the story line consistent? I get confused by this game I think it is overrated, but hey everyone likes what they like.

LOL Yeah. I can appreciate him more now that I know he was inspired by Mr. T, and not just another Japanese brain-dead black video game character...
