I thought it was good for a new series premiere you gotta give it time to cook then see what you got, of course you have to set the table first. The only gripe i had was them killing off the drug dealer dude, didnt make sense especially how they took the time to introduce him. Couldve made that into an interesting character arc.

Came in to say this pilot was trash as fuck. I'm gonna give it a fair shot, but its so slow. The characters are wack, the mom walks around with this tough entitled attitude like she's a cop or something. Every time she entered a room she was like Marishka Hargitay on Law & Order. Bitch you a highschool guidance counselor.
The son is the most annoying and boring junkie on t.v. Daughter is a basic daughter character. The Dad might develope to a Rick type,we'll see. TWD pilot came out the gate on fire. Idk wtf this was.

I thought it was a decent set up and an interesting take on the beginning of the apocalypse. Dude thought he was losing his mind and no one believed him. The zombies looking normal since there hasn't been time to decay. This will go the route of the Strain. More and more zombies popping up until the situation has to be addressed, but by then, it'll be too late.

It took Saul's spot as most watched pilot of cable so I would say this show is here to stay

The drop-off in the next couple of weeks will be the true indicator. They started with a built-in audience just like Better Call Saul but they did a lot less to appeal to them. If they don't step it up in the second episode this shit gonna be written off as a one-off miniseries.
And can someone please tell me why that dealer decided to just go ahead and kill his childhood junkie friend? If dude's parents knew him well enough to just swing by his place why would them just swinging by his place be enough of a reason to kill him? You know what? Nevermind.

This show is designed to show the very beginning of the virus outbreak, so I don't understand why some people were expecting a zombie war in episode one.
