Watching this interview whoever made the post in the Michael Dunn trial thread about the parents being "good know your place negroes" just seems even dumber now then it did then.

Well done Mr. Davis. Blackmen\fathers have to know the system. This brother knows what he's doing. Like the brother said. In the end all they want to do is lock us up anyways. We have to keep our composure.

Some folks don't think you're fighting back if you're not acting belligerent and being loud.

Much more is accomplished with a sound state of mind and keeping one's composure though.

Great stuff. Glad to hear they are gonna atleast attempt to do something about that law

@jono

Go ahead and apologize. You said that man was on some fake christian image shit. Shame on you!

I never said that, I was talking more about why it always comes up in these cases.

Now I don't know if their invoking God is fake or not but he noted many times that his job now is to preserve his son's legacy and to be his representative.

This is where the "good Christian" stuff comes in. Again, I won't say it's fake but it's common in these types of cases that in order to illicit sympathy for their child they have to put forth a "respectable" image..when they shouldn't have to do that at all.

Black folks always have to play up religious angles to be considered respectable or to be treated as human beings when other people do not and it's lame as hell. That was ultimately my point.

The conversation was about forgiveness.You said or implied that the gracious attitude of Jordan's parents was not genuine, particularly when they stated that they would pray for their son's killer as well. But we don't have to rehash it. At least you're ashamed.
