IMO Joey played/plays an important part in the culture, what he has done for hip hop, his background with and even before DITC, *allegedly* thorough in the streets and dude even did graffiti etc he has crazy longevity, evolved, bought rappers through, even a GOAT in Pun, he had his Terror Squad movement for a while, has hardcore hip hop tracks with rappers like King Sun, KRS and Raekwon then mainstream hits too AND he seems to have the respect of greats like KRS, G Rap, Diamond D, Premo, CNN, Rae and so on aswell as underground rappers from the back in the day to the present...
