c/s...... Way worse.

But thats Favre. He will win some, and he will lose some.

I dont, the pick against the giants was strictly a bad soft throw. yesterday was not only a bad throw but an awful decision, i honestly think that any middle school kid who plays madden would of understood the situation and wouldnt have thrown the ball there, he had harvin open along the sideline, he could of ran, or he could of thrown the ball away but he had to be a "gunslinger"

I think this is worse than Bill Buckner or Chris Webber's Timeout

Its hard to compare it to Buckner because that was the actual world series, game 6 at that. plus sox fans were convinced the team was cursed and that theyd never win another world series. If favre threw this in the super bowl, then maybe.

The saints are a great team and we playing at home. They were supposed to win. GB was the favorite and playing at home when he threw the pick against the giants.

Plus there were plenty of other chances for minny to take the game. those fumbles might have hurt more than the int

So you comparing a world series game 6(Elimination game for the mets) and a ncaa title game to a Int that if didn't throw would have gave the vikings a chance to kick a 60 yard FG and then go to OT in the nfc championship not even the super bowl.Nah what you doin is exaggerating and tweaking. That Peterson fumble right before halftime and that berrian fumble hurt the vikings more than anything favre did.

First, I'll admit that those other two were on bigger stages but he's the thing about the Buckner game, it didnt cost them the world series, the bullpen did. The bullpen choked needed only 3 outs in the tenth with a two run lead but lost it, Buckner didnt help matters but the bullpen was the reason y they lost that series. Second, Webber was 20, he was a kid, and kid make mistakes, quarterbacks that have been in the league nearly 20 years, played 900000 straight games, and is probably a top 10 qb when its all said and done (maybe top 5) dont make mistakes like that. a field from that range is no guarantee but its in a dome, longwell has the leg but farve blew it. As much mistakes the vikings made, farve blew it cause he had other options but chose the worse........

If you gonna argue know how to spell the word you stupid fuck.I said a 60 yard Attempt at worse would of sent the game to OT If he missed.FOH

Once again what are you talking about? Favre could have ran the ball to the 30-35 yard line, he had room. But instead he choose to chuck it. And that is the point the threadstarter is geting at. If he runs it out at the 30 it would have been a 40 yarder, not a given, but makeable. So Favre bascially costed himself a shot at the championship by going back to the very thing he didn't do all season. In the biggest moments, Favre has always done this. I thought he played like a warrior Sunday, but he always makes the crucial mastake, that's his downfall. But let's be honest, nothing compares to Buckner's fuckup.

This isn't even close. Buckner's jawn was on larger scale. Farve phucked up, but buddy made a helluva play on the ball. Dude was a good 6 yards behind Rice. Hell he wasn't even in the frame when they replayed it until the ball got within' Sindney's vicinity.

If u wanna be real his TEAM messed up far worse by coming out of a TIME OUT with 12 men on the field when u already in FG territory. How do u allow that 2 happen?! And THEN their coach decides 2 run the ball TWICE on 1st and 2nd down (both gained not a damn thang) leaving Favre with a mandatory pass play on 3rd down jus 2 get them in decent field position.

All in all, it's hard 2 win a game when u have 5 turnovers.

was there any guarantee longwell woulda hit a 53 yarder? buckner gets that ball, touches 1st, its all over.

No its not, the game was tied, they would've just moved into the eleventh if they got the out (and since it was mookie wilson running, there's a good chance he would of beat out bob stanley to first)
