I see people say this all the time. You just don't want him to grow. I happen to prefer Kanye's first three albums over anything he has done since. WTT is an exception.

i get when people say his first 2 albums, his 3rd one was good but not on par with those to me.

Can someone explain to me how of any of Kanye's albums are better than MBDTF? Serious question

Nah he didn't, Kanye was spitting some real shit on his last album. But, as always, the cool thing to do is to hate when an artist reaches a certain level.

How can people say he's digressing? He's transcending hip hop right now. There has never been an artist like him

Edit: And before any clowns say I'm dick riding, I'm calling how I see it.

"Niggas want my old shit, buy my old album"

That " meet me at the maaaaaallll" nonsence he be on now is not better than his pre "Jesus walk" shit and "Homecoming" shit. But whatever dizz. You got different taste than everyone else as usual.

this is the shit i hate about hip hop fans sometimes.

do you want an artist to keep with the same sound/formula so they can possibly fade out with the times and become stale, or do you want them to push the envelope, evolve and be progressive (as an artist should)??

Right, because everyone thinks Luda is better than Outkast.

And Kanye's last album didn't receive more acclaim than all his other shit, from all sorts of media outlets

smh

. . . . . . . . .

Niggas don't understand the difference between rappers/singers and legends (people who transcend genres)

Good luck finding somebody that will say Andre got better punchlines metaphors and multi syllable rhyme scheme than Luda and yeah, when you get more Euro you gonna get more aclaim, it's called selling out your fan base to get a bigger audience. I ain't mad at that if you still spit your ass off lyrically but come on man....you know he been selling himself a little short

I just like the music he was putting out better before. I want growth in artists. Look at Nas he has showed alot of it in his career. I like kanyes last album but i dont get the same feeling his older ones gave me.

His first two singles featured Dwele and Pusha T. How is the music more white-washed? (horrendous word by the way)

His lyrics are better now than they have ever been.

The beats are better also

How is he selling himself short? Show me a song where he wasn't spittng
