Unless you are in the Southern part of the map, all it Takes its strategy and tactics.

Most of the time ennemies will RUSH you. So throw a two mine in front of you and get back at the right moment.

Thats how I destroyed a giant security robot armed with miniguns. Before that I was getting killed.

Most of the times anyway you will lose combats if you dont plan a strategy.

And always quick save the game before approaching a new discovered area or engaging a Combat.

I got that silencer equiped rifle that have explosive bullets and that gun that give 25 additional damage.

Finally decided to settle down in sanctuary. Currently fencing off the whole perimeter. Going to force raiders to come thru the bridge to get picked off by torrents and shit.

Shit keep you on your toes. That's why I give every resident two guns n plant a siren in large spaces so somebody can get the word out.

Also when placing turrets, build them high so that it takes longer to destroy them. Also build a upstairs,even outside.

Having that height can be crucial.

I never use Stimpaks. Them mufuckas are expensive and since I know I'm gonna die a lot I literally just let myself die and then come back with a better strategy. I have like 165 Stimpaks right now just off of loot. Oh yeah QUICKSAVE A LOT.
