oh yea, secondary gettin better btw. Aaron Rodgers only had 1 touchdown pass and a pic won tha game tonight. Just sayin......that's our weakness and it's not as weak as it was at tha beginning of tha year.

Yeah, but Brent Grimes is my dog. If heart was talent, he'd be the best corner in football. He goes head up with ANY Receiver no matter the talent or size difference. And Dunta is talented. Those safeties are the weak link.

Its starting to feel like 1998 around this bitch...............

Nah... Don't say that.

If we get to the Superbowl this year we will have actually deserved it this time.

We wasn't ready in 98. Biggest game in franchise history and these niggas was fuckin up that whole week. Plus I believe this team is much better and so far we have proven that we are the best team in our conference.

I had this same convo with my homeboi last night after the game. I think the 98 team was all around better than this years team. The D was damn sho better than our D this year. Our O was pretty damn good too. Mathis and Martin only finished about 30 yards behind Moss and Carter in rec yards(a lot of people dont know that). And our run game with J. Anderson(I think he had about 1800 yards) and Play action with Chandler was killer. Our D had about 4-5 pro-bowlers and was solid as hell. We had Jessie Tuggle, Cornelious Bennett, Chuck Smith, Ray Buchannon, Eugean Robinson, Keith Brooking, and Henri Crockett. We ran through the NFC that year and our only 2 loses came when Chris Chandler was hurt.

SAINTS vs FALCONS Dec27th might decide home field thru out the playoffs

Even if we lose to the Aints which I doubt, we will still have home field so you can cancel that buddy. Cause at worst we finish 13-3. And with a tie they look at head to head match ups. You already lost to Cleveland and the Cardinals. And you havent played the Ravens or Buc's again yet....

Co-sign.

98 still stands as Atlanta's best team ever. Not just because of the Super Bowl berth, but because - like you said above. Don't forget how strong the coaching staff was too. Hall of Famer and former Raiders HC Art Shell was coaching the o-line (best o-line we ever had) and Dan Reeves was knocking out game plans and having heart attacks all at the same time, lol.

Old heads in ATL tell me the 1980/81 squad was pretty dope too, but got upset by the 49ers right when they were coming up in the 80s.

My personal favorite was the 91/92 Falcons. Run N' Gun offense, Deion, Bad Moon, Brian Jordan -- wut?!

Just heard some shit on 680 the fan.

If the Failcons lose to the Saints, but go undefeated they would get the tie breaker because the Saints lost to the Cardinals.

Just research this and they are right. The Failcons have to lose to another NFC team other than the Saints.

Yep, doesnt even matter. If the both the Saints and the Failcons end up 13-3, even if the Saints win on Dec. 27 the Turds get the 1 seed.

Honestly I dont mind being a 5th seed, we get to go to St. Louis, San Fran or Seattle and whoop up on them.

I still want them to beat them in the thier home. I hate listening to 680 the fan here in ATL. Because those dudes are the biggest homers. Well not the Rude awakening but Chuck and Chernoff(Mattlanta) and Buck and Kincade are! I want to at least make them think about it if we end up meeting in the GA dome again!

If New Orleans become a fifth seed we will play the NFC West winner. then the two seed. That would be tricky if it is Green Bay or Chicago. I would rather them go to Philly or New York!

Im itchin to go to Chicago and beating them, payback for 06. But it would be tough. Saints pretty solid on the road tho, 12-2 the last 2 years if Im not mistaken.

If Brees beats Chicago, Brees would be the only player besides Farve to have beaten all 32 NFL teams.
