Dave Chappelle a living legend.

Its a shame when people try to find chink in the man armor. Overrated...how?

Dave Chappelle the only comedian that has a chance to pass Eddie Murphy as the greatest.

Dave is hilarious and in my opinion top 3 of all time.

I don't smoke, I have zero white friends nor do I let what they think influence what I like and dislike

Killing Em Softly and For What It's Worth still have me in tears.

Dude couldn't even tell you why Kevin Hart is the man

"Kevin Hart is killing it and let me tell you why. He's smashing it"

Thanks for that great analysis!

Clearly bruh was drunk, bur he meant what he said. He sound a little bitter, because he didn't outright say Kevin Hart was funny and danced around the question. Sounds like some jealousy or something.

There's quite a few people who don't think Kevin Hart is funny tho.

Not saying Faizon ain't hating but just saying.

Most say movies aren't funny because he plays the same role in everything but his standup is

yep....theres some revisionist history going on. yall niggas tripping if yall saying he wasnt funny before Chappelle Show. I believe in folk having their own opinions, but god damn...

Half baked came out in 98. Him and Neal wrote THAT shit.

what about the HBO 30 Min standup he did?

What about Killin em softly?

Faizon is cool and funny in his own right but this whole tirade sounds like some hater shit.

Im cool with what he said.

But for real, whats up with the string of comedians hating though?

Comedians seem mad bitter and more hateful of their peers than rappers.

Because of the idea that only 1 black comedian can be big at one time, not true btw, so whoever is the biggest at the moment will have niggas who arent on that level hating instead of trying to figure out why they haven't made it to the level they want

To put things in perspective....

Dave Chappelle comes into town and tickets sell out ASAP for multiple shows in an arena.

Faison came to town performing at the local Funny Bone and they are giving tickets away for free....

I'm still tripping over the fact that Faizon is a comedian. I thought he was just a funny actor never heard one joke from him

I saw a show faizon did on showtime or one of those networks it was aight. he was funny on the parenthood also this nigga is hating on some crab shit because he aint in the number one spot. Lavelle Crawford although I like his comedy said the same crab shit about dave being built for white audiences whatever when he did that interview with vlad. as posted before dave was on def jam in early in his career he's been doing standup since he was 15. look at the audience in killing them softly it was mostly black. they trying to act like dave don't fuck with niggas what was the block party movie about then? the reason why his audiences are mostly white now because since chapelle show and half baked they are just catching on to him.

The "white audience" criticism is stupid. If you're in entertainment and hit a certain level of mainstream success, you're going to do shows in front of mostly white audiences from time to time. They make up the majority of the country and there are sections of the country where you'll basically find nothing but them. You think Dave is going to go to Idaho or Iowa and do a show in front of a bunch of black people? Come on.

Black Comedy is many different layers most people think black comedians should just be loud in your face and raunchy when we have people with different styles

Pryor was self deprecating and reflective on his life and upbringing and the black experience

you had Eddie with the flashy hollywood style

Chris Rock had the political/racial style like a modern day Dick Gregory

and Dave Chappelle is the closest thing black comedy has to slice of life and observational comedy

i dont understand why we cant appreciate all of those styles

sorry my nigga..

maybe ita cause im not a pothead..

but before Chapelle snow nigga was not funny..

after the Chapelle show i feel like yall niggas jus want him to be funny..

he's not wack..

but he's not this fuckin hilarious nigga yall try so hard to make him be..

i actually agree wit this interview about Eddie bein that dude above all and everything..

Kevin Hart not necessarily bein funny but bein smart..

he wasnt hatin.. he was jus givin u his opion unfiltered..

wish more athletes and stars spoke they mind so niggas quit believin the hype..

niggas like Magic talkin about Kobe is the greateat Laker and dumb ass Kobe fans believin it.. Magic need to be like Faizon and hit niggas wit the "the fuck!!?" face. hahaha

Eddie who u his first fan

I've heard and seen the faces of Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Eddie Murphy, Chris Tucker, Kat Williams, Bill Burr, and Kevin Hart..when they speak on Dave.

Most times when people give other people's props you can tell it's cause it's political. Them dudes are in awe at daves creativity and delivery.

So I get that Dave isn't his type of comedy so he believes Dave is overrated. But that's like someone likes Emmit Smiths style of running between the tackles and taking on tacklers..saying Barry Sanders is overrated.

Emmit was great, Barry Sanders was a once in a lifetime human being on the field. As is Dave on the stage.

Why are Black Comedians..(YES BLACK COMEDIANS).. always hating on other black comedians...?

You ever hear Seinfeld hating on Richard Lewis ? or Russell Peters hating on Aziz?

You got Mike Epps, Ari Spears, Kat Williams, Now big Worm?

Geezus!
