The "white audience" criticism is stupid. If you're in entertainment and hit a certain level of mainstream success, you're going to do shows in front of mostly white audiences from time to time. They make up the majority of the country and there are sections of the country where you'll basically find nothing but them. and Dave Chappelle is the closest thing black comedy has to slice of life and observational comedy

Most times when people give other people's props you can tell it's cause it's political. Them dudes are in awe at daves creativity and delivery.

So I get that Dave isn't his type of comedy so he believes Dave is overrated. But that's like someone likes Emmit Smiths style of running between the tackles and taking on tacklers..saying Barry Sanders is overrated.
