Fair. Fuck anybody texting and driving.

Plus, if y'all don't like it and don't want to have this issue you can always roll back to one of these:

But u can use the phone at a traffic light imo

Just keep an eye out for the light change and put it down when u get that green

No, you can't. You need to pay attention to what's going on around you when you're driving. Sitting at a light is no different.

You ever been rear ended by a nigga texting at a light?

... I have.

Messican dude was texting, thought he saw a green and hit his gas. What he saw was actually the green for the turning lane, not for the rest of us. Cops took a look at his phone and determined he was texting pretty much non-stop for the last 30 minutes and sent a text to someone talmbout "aw shit, I just hit a truck at the light". Thankfully I was in my Durango so the only damage I took was some scratches on my bumper but his whole hood was FUCKED.

^^^^ @TheGOAT I've been in the same situation except it was a white dude. Honestly, I think it's fair if you're involved in an accident. Especially when everything that comes up after the textalyzer has been ran can be documented in a police report. This is also helpful if the party who hit you goes to their insurance company and tells them that you were at fault (this happened to a former coworker). So having the results, photos and/or video can only help you.

Now if you were just pulled over and the cop asked if he can use the textalyzer, the answer of course is no.

why they can't just get a warrant and get the info from your phone company? i'm sure they have records of what time you were texting. this just seems like an excuse to got thru your phone. like they'll fuck around and download all your information while it's plugged up

keep thinking it's a game giving up more and more of our rights to privacy. before you know it mfs will be getting arrested for thought crimes

Like most other shit, you just can't trust these MFs to enforce laws. The courts and cops too fuckin corrupt and profit-oriented.

A lot of room for error in this shit. They should have to prove it as in see and record you doing it or some shit.

Nigga, I drop my phone if its in my hand whenever I drive by some police. All they're going to see is my hands on the wheel. But I try not to use my shit unless its important anyway, people don't be talking about shit so I'll call them back if they leave a message or text them later. But yeah, fuck a textalyzer.

The morale of the story is keep your extra old iPhone 5 or whatever Samsung in your car.

Was just bout to say this. Unless they catch you literally in the act of being on the phone just throw the shit under the seat or keep an old phone up front with you as backup

damn.. texting and driving means that much to y'all??? I guess it's like those fake pop can covers they used to have for beer cans back in the late 70's/early 80's so you could drink beer while driving. It meant that much to drink and drive that niggas actually made a way to try to fool the cops into thinking you had a can of Pepsi and not Busch.

I text and drive at times. Guilty. But if I'm not being pulled over for texting/being on the phone and driving what I look like handing over unnecessary information that could further incriminate me? I get caught speeding why am I giving you my phone?

What if you were in the store or in the house and on your phone then 5 mins later they pull up shit on your phone and it says you were on the net. Now you gotta fight in court over dumb shit

It's not solely based on texting and driving but things like your phone automatically pulling emails down, playing a streaming play list or even YouTube video playlists via Bluetooth, and yes even texting through the dash display or directly on the phone. There are many ways to be made as though or assume as though you were manually doing something that you wasn't and even if I was it doesn't warrant a digital download. Just give me a ticket and keep it pushing. I don't want to be pulled over on some bullshit suspicion of distracted driving, be asked if I'm on parole or probation (I'm not), asked where I'm going, then be subjected to some "digital" search. Man fuck all that.

Once that door is opened the next thing you know the FAA will be mandating this for boarding flights "for safety's sake".
