Canibus might be a bum now, but i just gave his Can-I-Bus album a listen and shit's dope.

That's the thing, we were disappointed in 98' cause expectations were high. The Way, Big, NaS, Jay, DMX and Pun matched the hype by dropping Classic Debuts, Canibus became a new hope for NY and "Can I Bus" was suppose to be the next classic debut but it didn't live up. Mostly cause of the production but when compared to today, it's still better than a lot of albums being dropped now. Again, Lyricism wasn't the problem, Canibus needed better producers. Wyclef is a good producer for his sound, but Canibus needed a harder sound. I still enjoyed the album but it should of been better.
