FABOLOUS & JADAKISS: FRIDAY ON ELM STREET (11/24) - ALBUM COVER/TRACKLIST

i listened to this joint all the way thru without hearing any songs leading up to the release. for what its worth, you can tell that they cared as far as how they wanted the project to be received. i dont think they phoned in the verses or anything like that. but now that there is an actual product that we can digest, one can say that with the sum of their talents...at some point there had to be a conversation about what this project was going to be about. i think they realized that its not 2001-2005 and they cant just kill shit like it is...hence the future feature and subsequent remix w/ yo gotti and jeezy. what i'm trying to say is that there is content on this album mixed with what jada and fab are known for. the good songs are dope but there are a couple "misses". again, for the sum of their talents, you'd think they'd have a more solid "single". but yeah, id say this mixtape is a decent 7 on first listen with my favorite tracks being:

F v J Intro

Theme Music ft Swizz Beatz

Ground Up

Soul Food

Talk About It ft Teyana Taylor

Ice Pick ft Styles P

Nightmares Ain't As Bad

i think the people that dont like the project and like both fab and jada might have expected them to be more aggressive....so i could see why someone wouldnt like it.

THIS WAS STRAIGHT...

JADA SOUNDS RAZOR SHARP ON THIS...

FAB HAS A FEW MOMENTS ON THIS TOO...

SOME MUSICAL CHOICES ARE SUSPECT...

BUT THAT'S EXPECTED AT THIS POINT...

SOLID 3/5

I downloaded it, finna check later since I'm bumpin that new T-Pain atm.

My expectations are low due to the comments

T-pain album sounds like some 2009 shit.

Shit bumpin to me. May I's sample is weird af, but dope imo

Soul Food is The Hope 2.0

The album should've been more in this lane IMO

I wonder how many songs did they actually do in the studio together and what was just sent in

I like it to be honest but it just wouldn't get regular burn from me for sounding so dated.

Talk About It is dope but it doesn't seem to fit on the album IMO

They could've kept this for one of thier solo albums
