People here move to Jersey, Rhode Island, Long Island, CT or PA and even Westchester. Many areas in Queens, Bronx and BK where you can buy houses too. Most married couples especially young ones aspire for that. Know 2 couples off top that relocated to Rye and Westchester area. They are not even mid 30s yet.

People who live in NYC (especially in the actual city) generally use metrocards more than anything else. The ones with cars are in outer boroughs more often than not but in Manhattan it's pretty much a public transportation haven.

I live in Manhattan and I am 34. Still just have a learner's permit to this day. No need for a car right now or ever really. I'm buying one eventually but cause I want to not cause I need to. However I am also single. It's different for married folks.

NYC is where you will find the most people fronting. "Can't pay my rent but I'm still fly" ass niggas. That's where a lot of the pressure comes from. Trying to keep up with the Joneses in one of the most expensive cities in the world.
