I don't hate Lebron, I actually liked him alot as recently as a few years ago. But as the years go pass, I start to dislike him more and more and alot of it is due to the media overhyping him, putting him on a level he has not reached yet like KOP said. Its crazy. He is not as good as advertised to me imo and I personally think he overrated.

The hate comes from him being a fucking bitch in front of the world. he bowed down and and joined d-wade's team.

The hate comes from him being a cleveland cavalier and playing the best he could only for him self. not the team. Bitch, if u didnt wanna be a team player, go play golf.

The hate comes from him going to cleveland indians games wearing a yankee's ballcap. then tellin people that the yankees are your favorite team and you root against the cleveland indians when they came to town.

The hate comes from him chillin on the dallas cowboys sideline when they came to cleveland. u pose to be ohio right? bitch.

The hate comes from him saying that he just LOVES to play at madison square garden. there is no bigger high. he loves hitting 3's and giving spike lee dap. he loves going for "50" and callin it when he only has 3 points and its 2nd. The punk flirted with new york for YEARS. for what? the attention? they cheered him. he gave them hope. they loved him. fuck him.

The hate comes from him quitting because he knew HE COULD NOT BEAT BOSTON. he could not do it. nor orlando either.

close thread.

I figured the media was the reason why most people hated him,its hypocrisy at its finest but at least ya'll honest

Before this year I was a huge lebron fan but that nigga straight up quit against the C's in game 5 I forgot to say that too

That made me question his heart and like him a little less cuz he just gave up on that squad and them fans

When he first came into the league I enjoyed watching him play but all that damn dancing, saying stupid stuff like he wants to be the richest man in the world, the whole 2010 free agency watch thing, the decision, the "I'm taking my talents", the damn Heat parade/concert thing they had when they signed. After all that I can't say I hate the guy but I ENJOY WATCHING HIM LOSE.

We're in a world filled with self centered, losers. What do you expect. Could you imagine if someone told you, you were obligated to work for them? James made his decision and regardless of how he went about it the world was still going to hate. Someone posted that he embarrased Ohio. Ohio embarrased themselves with that stupid video to get him to stay. They threw away their own dignity. They had an idea he was leaving or they wouldn't have made that dumb song and video in the first place. Players switch teams all the time but they were trying to make a fairytale story out of that brothers life. Fresh out of high school, play for the big league, win a championship and bring one home. They put him on that pedestal as the next coming of christ. As soon as he started writing his own chapters the world want to go against him. We can't navigate nobodys destiny. Thats a grown man. So what do they do to get him back? They pit his idol M.J. against him and try to make his career seem lackluster against a legend. Which is obviously a ploy by the NBA and Nike to keep the bad guy image going to increase ticket sales and shoes. This isn't the WWE but their promoting it like this so the people that rooted so heavily for Lebron will exhaust just as much energy to root against him. Most these white folks aint studying you unless you can toss a ball, rap or dance a jig for their ass anyway so I'm happy he made his own decision and came to Miami. Last I checked this was America. The illusion of freedom is slowly fading.

Hate? Thats a pretty strong word for someone who plays a game for a living. You and countless others act like you have stock in this mans life. For you to say you hate a man because he decided to switch teams to better position himself for a ring is almost comical.

Rarely do I do this but theres a strain of bitchassness going around on this thread and it seems a lot of niggas got their little feelings hurt when James decided to make a decision pertaining to HIS life. I really don't understand why ya'll niggas get so homotional over sports anyway. Them niggas aint breaking no bread with you so why put so much emotional stock in these players? If you're from Ohio and he's such a quitter then why you mad he's gone. If that man wanted to sit in the skybox you niggas would still be complaining. Ya'll niggas sounding extra hot like ya'll own part of the team and half of ya'll niggas never even owned this brothers jersey. So what! He flirted with N.Y. and if he would have went to N.Y. then what would be your stance? Some of ya'll niggas sound like a bunch of babies. Bow down? How a nigga bowing down by making his own decisions? He would have bowed down if he would have let public opinion sway his decision to leave and go where he wanted.

that was a good take.

We build people up just to tear them down.

Some of these celebrities, athletes who we hate so much we help created. And get mad at Dr. Frankenstein's monster. lol

@bilfiger, you are one of the few who didnt take it personal. Also dont discount the "sources" and what not that came out wrong. Thats alot of people in a position to write shit about you in the media and try to change perception of you, that got a bone to pick. Notice not alot of Heat coming from Stephen A. Smith. Alot of guys got it wrong.

Also Lebron stated that coming from Akron, people from Cleveland always thought they were better than them.

Lebrons haters consist of

White folks who feel that a ****** shouldn't have that much power
Sports haters who ride for their teams or favorite players
Sports reporters who try to generate a story
Jilted fans who thought their team stood a chance to begin with (really Memphis)

Dude isn't a fuck up at all, you don't see him raping bitches, getting DUI"s, beating his wife, fucking every bitch in sight, etc.

i Dont think anyone "Hates" Lebron, im a fan of his and realize he's a tremendous player

but so far he's come off as a extreme Stat Stuffer who in Really tight situations gets ghost , or doesn't look like the same player and starts to turn the ball over a ton ... and he's shown that countless times

and the Media has tried to slowly put him on a Level he realistically hasnt reached, the Jordan comparisons , Sayin' he's better than Kobe , sayin he's the Next Magic Johnson , year after year the Media has Crammed him down our throats since he been in the league (nh) and it got to the point to where i think a lot of folks were like "Okay we know he's good but enough of him already" ...

a lot of his game is overrated to me , he's not a consistent jump shooter, he's a overrated defender , he makes good defensive highlight plays here and there with those chase down blocks and i think thats what gets people amped up, he's not a good ball handler to me either.

his MVP's were well deserved , but to be on the Level the media has pushed him for u cant go running in tight situations during games and then expect people to really take u serious when it's time to compare u to the true Legends, Right now i view Lebron as one of the Current great players in the game that Likes to Stat Stuff.

And a lot of stuff he's done he's brought on himself "The Decision" was one of the Corniest things i've seen in sports , also press conferences where he says things like " I Spoil the fans too much" like what? ...all the Third Person Refrences to himself "well Lebron has to whats best for him" ...

he just comes off as a Athlete that has Countless accomplishments in the Championships department when he has Zero , and a lot of that is to blame more so on the media , Cuz they feed into that since he jumped into the league, but also thats what Lebron wanted when he jumped into the League Rockin #23 ..

thats just My Opinion , i never denied how good he was, he's a good player but a lot of flack i give him is due to the Level folks try to put him on when he hasnt reached it and how Also Lebron Portrays himself..he needs to humble himself big time.

damn good post
