Maybe this is some way of trying to cope with grief, but I wouldn't have publicized something as tragic as this. There is already this idea that religions are there reasons for mental illnesses and this article allows people to come to that conclusion hastily.

Given Rick Warren status I doubt he publicized this rather than media outlets chasing a story.
