As a heat fan I'm glad Miami is getting hyped up, but at the same time it's whack cuz it's only cuz of LBJ. At the end of this season I might end up hating LBJ even though he's on my team now SMH, the media really is the downfall of our society.

I honestly have no problem with this. ESPN would be stupid if they did not try to milk everything they can from this. Remember, they try to program for the average sport fan, not folks like us. As much as we complain, the average sports fan IS interested in the Heat.

Come on, it is not often that 2 of the top 3-5 players in the NBA are on the same team, and they even brought along their pet dinosaur.

some1 else might but i wont...i respect the game. i acknowledged that they'll b exciting to watch...they'll have a way better record than the pistons and may even make the finals...but that aint gonna stop me from hoping the pistons beat'em. if they dont...oh well, on to the next 1.

IT is what it is, is the coverage too much, probably. But they do have 2 of the top 3 players in the world and another bona fide All world player in the starting line-up, plus yall gotta remember, dont know If i made a thread on it before but the reason a team like Chicago had no chance is because this team is going to be marketed worldwide, hence all the coverage. The reason I didnt think Chicago had a chance is because teams like Miami and New York are coastal teams and easier to get to from Europe and South America, and LA has China, so the league is covered there.
