I also think TES is his best work and while I think Relapse is his best produced album I do believe Recovery is slightly better because of the content.

I can respect that, but we all know we have different opinions. I guess my ear for music is very different, I think Recovery is his second best album.

Now I can't fuck with the SSLP too much, no doubt there are some dope tracks on there and lyrically it's beast but I wasn't really feeling that album. *shrugs*

In retrospect sslp is my favorite, although I haven't listened to any of them in years, save for recovery which I listened a couple times when it came out.

Encore was complete garbage to me, the bad songs were so bad that they overshadowed the good songs completely.

Relapse I can't just listen to because of the accents and because at this point Em's heart wasnt in it anymore.

Recovery... all of his "emotion" on this album sounded fake as hell. Production was crazy but thats about it. Em is still rapping circles around like everybody, he just aint really trying anymore, which says more about the rap game than anything else

Infinite was dope to me. all the songs you mentioned are cool too. DEFINITELY a 1996 album with a 96 sound.

Its not in the discussion because its not a MAJOR album release. most people look right over it.

just like im sure people will overlook all of wiz's albums UP TIL NOW (ie Deal or No Deal) and will mention Rolling Papers as his "debut" album.

I can respect that.... I'd bump them down a little bit tho. I respect dudes talent and especially his creativity, but tha replay value just isn't there for me. Every once in a while I might be able to pull off listening to him but most of tha time I'm not really feelin it.

I agree with most the things you said but I would give recovery no less than an 8. I think recovery is better than Relapse on most days. Why i say most days is because relapse seems more upbeat and more rough than recovery. Now just because it has more edgy songs doesn't automatically make it better.

"Insane"- For example this song on relapse was well........kinda....had me speechless at first. I know he was trying to get more shock form this song but I think some of the lyrics were more concentrated on "shock" than actually great lyrics. That's my feeling on the album itself but I still liked it.

Relapse is way better than Recovery for the simple fact Em isn't all over Wayne and Kanye's dicks on Relapse. and the beats are better. i listened to Recovery once and never went back.

i think Recovery is better than Relapse simply because of the content..songs like Going thru Changes, 25 to Life, Almost Famous make it way better imo..production & flow are better on Relapse, but that's about it..
