The production on this album sucks. It doesn’t SOUND good. I wanna say more than 9 of those songs literally could have been given to anyone (all the songs with features..every last one of them). They weren’t even made with Eminem in mind. They were just made...and he picked them and rapped in between the hooks. These songs are horrible. The bars are eh and the punchlines are REALLY BAD.
You even saying that he’s a pop star who makes pop music now makes a mockery out of everything Eminem was from 1999-2003.

Love the nerd album also had Kendrick using a old flow for like 30 seconds it was refreshing then he starts shouting that's wack to me

Y'all can debate wether this garbage ass album is garbage or not, this is the only album of his that has a few tracks that i can listen to in public without cringing:

I’ve been a big Eminem fan since I heard Slim Shady LP and I’ve been disappointed in every release (with the exception of The 8 Mile OST) since The Eminem Show. I can tolerate Relapse because it’s the closest return to form for him out of that album, Recovery, MMLP2 and Revival. The accents really stop it from being what it should be.
I pay attention to what Eminem puts out because I think he’s easily one of the most skilled rappers ever. For some reason, his label or him or someone thinks he has to cater to this pop crowd, which makes him super corny. This is Lupe Fiasco’s Lasers shit but Lupe fiasco is Lupe fiasco and Eminem is fucking EMINEM. Never thought I’d see the day where his music was reduced to Mountain Dew/call of duty and soccer mom music.
