Billy Joel is the greatest white musician of all time.

That man hasnt made new record or album since 93 and still is touring to this day and selling out arenas.

That song came and went so fast people discussing if Elton John etc. This discussion has gone on longer than both the songs released

Alright @_Menace_ & @"water ur seeds"

Well Elton John is the undisputed GOAT when it comes to gay artists

Any objections?

I have no idea about that, I think alot of artists were fruity in the 60s, 70s and 80s lol

But Elton is one of the GOATS no matter what genre etc Im just saying hes not imo THE GOAT in any category, but I still place him as ONE of the GOATS of all time in music...

Sinatra can sing just cause it sounds almost as he talking he still has music where he actually can sing higher notes

Yeah crooning has roots all the way down to singers like Nat King Cole, singers that talk to you... I thought this documentary/series with Gregory Porter was really dope I think it was called 'Popular Voices', I think this was episode 2, try check it out if you can...

But the whole documentary was quality, basically what I got from the documentary was that music really has no genre, I think really good musicians cover different genres and evolve etc

Neil Young is not country WTF, this is one of the greatest songs ever...

'Needle and the Damage Done'

Neil Young does do country though. Check his wiki

He's a musician is does have 'country' like songs as do loads of other artists, like Ray Charles, but they are not named 'Country artists'... Hes a musician with something stupid like 50 odd albums, he has been named 'the godfather of grunge too' and won a Grammy for 'Best Rock song', loads of 'Juno' awards for things like best 'Alternate album', best 'Roots album' etc and hes in the Rock n Roll HOF... Musicians float in and out of genres, again like Ray Charles for instance, he has songs in various genres... You cant really label Neil Young in any genre, but if I had to I would best describe him as Folk or Folk Rock... I think of Country I think of Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Ray Price, Coe etc
