eminem may outsell jay-z but the only thing that matters is money in the bank. do you think burger king cares if mcdonalds sells 10 million $0.99 double cheeseburgers and burger king only sells 4 million $5 dollar whoppers? At the end of the day 400,000 cds sold first week and 1.5 million total is still more money int he bank for jay z. the man has way more status as a celebrity and can go places eminem will never be invited to and eminem has the right skin color. Jay Z gets invited to whitehouses, to go overseas and have dinners with royalty, having dinners with billionaires. Eminem gets invited to 8 mile and thats about it. On another note who gives 2 shits about first week sales anyways it comes down to how much money you are making off your cd and also how much total you are selling off that cd weeks later. I would much rather sell 200,000 first week and a year later have 1.8 mill sold versus 700,000 first week and a year later have 1.1 million sold.
Drake was a huge let down, because he was talked about and hyped up so much. I mean he was doing mt dew commercials, tv shoes, MTV, messageboards, BET i mean he should of came out and did lil wayne numbers the way he was hyped. This dude will be flippin burgers and recording on protools and a mbox in his bedroom in the next 2 years

Drake is so far... overrated. If you rap & can't freestyle, you LOSE. He can write a song or a rap, but you're still just an actor with an album out homie. I can write a rap, I can't freestyle though. Maybe I should drop an album...
