Things like this is why I dont believe in any religion, im not afraid of hell for it. I feel that doing good on earth would erase the sin of not believing the book. It would be different if someone didnt believe in the bible and because of it could care less about others and do bad things, but if someone does right all his life except praise a book, then he will be accepted because the good he has done will allow the other sin to be forgiven. I will say every book does teach great moral lessons that every man should follow though, I dont agree with all the teachings because some are hateful and at times raicist, but I do think the books should be read from a moral learning standpoint. If god whoever he may be associated with created us, and put people on this planet as our brothers and he is really a loving, caring god, he should not take issue with people not worshipping a book and judge them only by what they do in life for their brothers.

i don't He (God) will have the issue if we don't worship hsi book.. I think it'd be more of an issue if we deny His existence and even then still go about doing good deeds.. I think the good deeds is great, but believing in God moreso than any book would determine ones fate

Let me put in this way, I believe in a god, but i dont believe in any books version of god if that makes sense? I dont believe god created the earth in 6 days or created man im very much in favor of evolution. I do believe he placed the first organisms here though and we evolved from those. I believe in the big bang, but I also believe God had something to do with contructing space as a whole not just our galaxy. However its assumed im automatically going to hell because Im not in favor of a book. IMO believing that he does exists and doing good is what is wanted. Wether or not he created the acual man and believing that would be irrelavent, what counts is what we as humans do and that we accept he is there.

Just incase you thought I was, i wasn't saying at all that you would be hellbound for not accepting or worshipping etc a 'holy book'... the fact that someone does or does not believe in God was my only thing.. And you do believe, and I think your view makes complete sense. Somes up to me what anyone who isn't overly religious or devoted to religion etc should adopt as their way of thinking.. As in todays age this seems the safest way to approach life without leaving any room fro religious brainwashing by people.
