He said it was close in one of the books...he said Lucifer morningstar's power is superior but he is close...who you think wins?

I think the Endless win personally, but I remember Morpheus saying he was scared of Lucifer. Plus Lucifer blatantly told Death of the Endless that she had no hold over him AND has vastly superior power showings to Dream. Such as surviving an explosion that destroys all of creation without a scratch.

But on topic, the Elder Gods seem....much weaker than abstracts like The Endless. Gaea's the Earth, Atum's the Sun,Chthon seems strong due to Scarlet Witch, but I recall Strange hurting him before, and even the Elder God Eater was beaten by....like Thor wasn't it? Just seems like a different level.

I'd think the Endless would be more comparable to the Cosmic Compass in Marvel: Eternity, Death, Infinity, Oblivion. I guess you can kinda include Galactus and the Inbetweener since they more or less regulate the pairs.

The problem with all these comic book comparisons is that power levels change with each writer.

That's true. It's all good when you got good writers that respect character history on board, but when it goes downhill when you got writers that just want to tell their story and don't give a fuck about what's already been established.
