Just so we can get this out of the way now....most reputable experts believe that the Egyptians had no concept of "race" and Ancient Egypt was essentially multi-racial with skin color ranging from tan to blue black.

So Egypt wasn't 100% black, but there were plenty of black pharaohs holdin it down and those old Hollywood movies with pasty white blonde hair blue eyed Egyptians are still bullshit.

I disagree. Egypt was 100 percent black. The world was 100 percent black until the white/light skinned races came along.

Because it defies white supremacy. The truth literally hurts them.

Because Kemet was not a rainbow nation as some people like to believe.

And that national geographic article is bullshit, why make a separate article for 'black Pharaohs' like all the other Pharaohs weren't black. Its the same way they always stress on the differences between Nubians and peoples of Ancient Kemet, they always try to paint the Nubains as black while Ancient Egyptians as something else which couldn't be further from the truth, in fact there basically the same peoples and the Ancient Egyptians always maintained the fact that they're Civilization and their ancestry started in the south.

Anyone who doesn't believe that Egypt had a significant black african population with many of those being in positions of power is crazy. Anyone who doesn't believe that there wasn't an influx of different ethnicities over the hundreds of years that Egypt cycled through power and being conquered are also crazy. That's just logical.

Egypt was originally a black civilization and always had black people, but over time it became a multiethnic society.

Ancient Egyptian history spans over 3,000 years. Three. Thousand. Years. That's alot of Pharaohs fam. Its reasonable to assume that not all of them were black.

That said, yea that Nat'l Geo article fronts like Black Pharaohs were rare or a one-time thing, which is of course White Supremacist propaganda. I just like the cover.

Nobody's denying that there were blacks in ancient Egypt.

But only a fool would believe that everybody there was black or that all the pharaohs were black.

When you look at how the Egyptians depicted people, you see that they make their southern neighbors much much darker than themselves.

If anything, the Egyptians were red.
