Bowfinger was the last time he made me laugh. That shit is up there with his 80s classics as far as I'm concerned.

Holy Man was OK but it was advertised as a comedy when it wasn't. It was more about philosophy and spirituality but it's a good movie for the soul.

Shit all of Eddie's high points are still better than most people's entire resumes.

I remember years ago my homie telling me he read an article that Eddie basically said he doesn't really care about the quality of the film he's in as long as the paychecks right. He was basically saying his family didnt have much money growing up, so he learned from a young age not to turn good money down.

^I dont know if that's true, but it would explain some of his film choices he's nade in the latter part of his career.

Eddie Murphy has certified classics nobody can deny that...but to act like some of the later movies are great is a damn lie I've seen stories saying even Eddie Murphy didn't think movies like Holy Man were any good he did it for the check..and that's not a bad thing but when the person in the movies says they aren't that good that's saying something
