There is no more one button block. Back to the original up and down block from fight night series. Hopefully they fixed the counter impacts instead of eating 50 straight counters.

Been playing the beta and it's not bad at all. The block is R1 and L2. Haven't played much but the KO's are pretty nice. Does take a lot of dumb countering like usual for a KO to knockdown to happen. A guy can once again superman punch like an idiot, you can catch him and it'll take 3 counters to knock him out.

More of an update on the beta. It's back to rock'em sock'em robots with EA. It's like these devs don't understand that clean, effective, punching and countering should get rewarded. Instead, you'll have to throw non-stop counters to be rewarded for your smart fighting. These guys will go crazy throwing big punches and kicks, you block/counter and it takes forever for them to get stunned or hurt. Then, some how, they'll magically throw a punch/kick at you and you'll get hurt. It's like EA doesn't get it. REWARD SMART FIGHTING!! How much more vocal does players have to be? Wasn't in FNC, UFC1 and now UFC 2, same ol'shit@
