Dwight Howard's game is trash....Zo played tougher competition for his accolades....who does Howard have to go against?....I can't even name three good centers in the League right now

Dwight Howard vs Alonzo Mourning which was/is the better player in their 1st 9 yrs
Zo easy, played against tougher competition. Rules were different too, you could be more physical back then. Zo would have average more points in todays league. Dwight would be close to Dikembe as far as talent goes, if he played back then. Zo Miami teams were all about Defense and being physical, offense wasn't a main focus.
So Dwight gets penalized for playing in a different era.......even though his FG% is superior, Athleticism is superior, he guided a team with Hedo and Lewis and Nelson as his complimentary players to the Finals. That Orlando Team ws Top 10 in Defense only b/c of Howard. People say Dwight offense is trash but Zo FG% barely above 50% thats not good for a center which means Dwight was more efficient and a superior rebounder than Zo as well. Cant see why anyone would say Zo easily

Dwight would have got exposed playing against Olajuwon, Ewing, Robinson and a young Shaq. Even the 2nd tier centers like Mutombo, Smits, Daughterty during the 90's would keep Dwight in check.
That Orlando team wouldn't have made it out the first round in the 90's so you cant fault Zo for that since the Bulls and Knicks were dominant in the East during that time

Dwight's such a liability on offense, he leads the league in FT attempts damn near every year.... Wow he must be really easy to guard if he gets fouled all the time, huh?
Not to mention, he puts up on average 18ppg while shooting 58% from the field. We'll just ignore the fact that Alonzo puts up 17ppg on 53% shooting.

Zo makes his FT's at a better rate than Dwight.

They put him on the line on purpose cause he sucks there, got nothing to do with how difficult it is to guard him. Who is Dwight's competition at his position, he should be averaging more than what he is

You can argue that Zo's competition was so great that even with his ability and output, he still wasn't ever a top 3 center in the league during his career. Dwight is THE NBA center at the moment and has been for most of his career, yet his numbers don't look any better than Zo's really. That should tell you all you need to know.
