So folks, this piece was inpired by another poet shout outs to Prophet, it was written a way's back but never shared it with the masses and yesterday I was going thru some of my material and thought I share this one with ya'll.
Dreams
While I don’t await for darkness, I dream into far consciousness
Courageous for the unwanted timeless endured
The last I had infer my dreams, was when I thought I was ready to
take my last breath.
I had to wish upon the farthest star
Realizing my dream is to afar from actuality
From all the mortality of humanity due to animosity
Were just another causality of America’s hostility
Where tragedy is another man’s comedy.
Philosophizing why all these children are dying
A conception that I’m still not understanding.
The dream I’m reflecting
Is the opposite of my perspectives.
A world with no affliction but affection
Kids receiving parental attention
The hopeless overcoming life’s exception
And fulfilling expectations.
A place where unity and peace exists
with plenty of food to eat
people shouldn’t have to sleep with empty stomachs.
Less inequality so there’s equality
A place where racism and prejudice is never herd of
Letting justice be laws of morals and principals
However I don’t see that inevitable.
I dream for love, for purpose
And I dream a vandal would chisel me off this earth
Because that for me is death, or because that for me is life
So tell me how should a women live?
A petroglyph on a rock.
That’s one of my many countless dreams
While they remain unfilled
I re-visit them when life’s to hard to tell
As my dreams don’t come in refills
It only rebuilds my wills in over coming my ill’s
Dreaming of places where it takes me away from life’s feel
Healing me in places where I couldn’t prevail
Unveiling the true happiness that no ones hasn’t felt,
but waiting for it to be felt
Making my heart melt like a symphony and leaving it with sweet melody
But yet this is just another fantasy awaiting for it to be reality.
