Smart move by Drake no need to have power 105 piggyback off of you ,Drake gains nothing from doing an interview with them and he been doing pretty fine up to this point without them.
It aint about gaining anything but Drake looking like a pussy because he's most likely scared of the topics that would be discussed.
The people who can not stand Drake are not going to like him all of sudden if he does this interview .Drake is a grown ass man he is not going to get peer pressure into doing something he doesn't want to do, he is like fuck em I don't need em.
"Motherfuckers never loved us fuckers never loved us"-Drake
He could go there and prove he isn't as soft as people claim by "standing up" to CTG, and might end up gaining a few new fans..
It's Charlamagne...what the fuck is there to stand up to? Lol. A radio dj who cracks jokes on you? Charlamagne is funny, but the nigga ain't THAT important that not going on the Breakfast Club can be a big push on his career when his career is already big.
more excuses. yall been saying these excuses since the day he started earning ridicule.
let that man fight his battles.
There's no battle to be fought because it's lose lose no matter what he does as seen by any thread about Drake. He reacts he's emotional and in his feelings...he doesn't react or respond and he's scared. As a rap fan it'd be nice to see him actually confront some of the people who say shit about him directly...as a person who uses common sense it ain't that hard to see there's no point in responding back when no matter what you say or do, people already decided how they're going to feel about it. Hell it's a lesson Wale's ass needs to learn so he stops being trolled into dumb ass reactions in interviews.
you gave him a pass then took it away, then gave it back again.
nigga is a coward, he only directly addresses female rappers, and white guys that look like david cross.
You see it as being a coward...I see it as simply avoiding an annoyance and people who annoy you. Nobody has yet to give a reason he should go do an interview other than "He's scared and it would show he's not scared"...yet nobody has said what he's so scared. Charlamagne who everyone openly acknowledges as a troll nobody takes seriously? What exactly is there to fear about going on The Breakfast Club? T
You seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding as to how this Hip-Hop shit works.
So what part of hip hop dictates you go around people you don't like? And what part of hip hop says not going on the breakfast club means you scared lol
The part where your supposed to battle / confront your peers, which Drake NEVER does. And the part where you act as a proponent of the people and culture, not just a fucking self serving artist, which he tries to do but always gives a misguided, or half-hearted effort.
Once again, this is Hip-Hop, not Pop. Drake's main issue has always been, he wants the pros of being a rap star, but does not want the responsibilities which come with being a rapper. He want's the respect which comes with being a lyricists, but does not want to give us any reasons why other then a hot 16. He doesn't want to battle. He does not want to be put on the spot, in any shape or form. He doesn't want people to look at him as an emotional faggot, but his M.O. is simp songs, or moody joints. This would be fine if the nigga came out once in awhile for a genuine interview IE The Breakfast Club.
The one "battle" Drake had/tried to have with Common...niggas spent endless time roasting him talking about how "Drake ain't the battling type. Why'd he even jump out there" "Drake a bitch. Why is trying to be hard and battle?" etc......This post just proves my point. Drake responds to critics he loses because he's emotional and reacting. He stays quiet and he's scared, a punk etc. Regardless of what he does ya'll niggas going to say he should have made the opposite move. That's what's so funny about this shit....as for the interview thing the nigga does do interviews. There's a thread every time he does one. Wasn't but a month or so ago niggas had a thread about his those quotes on Jay Z's American Gangster from his Vibe interview and those other quotes about Kendrick Lamar...By "genuine" interview do you mean go do an interview with someone who he knows don't like him?...That's not genuine that's just an interview with a nigga who don't like you.
No nigga. You are completely mischaracterizing the issue people had with that Stay Schemin' shit.
It wasn't the fact that Drake was technically throwing battle jabs. It was the fact that his bitch ass was trying to lightly veil subliminals, whilst posted up against Rolls Royce, trying to appear like a hard ass.
Drake can battle and demonstrate his lyrical prowess without trying pump fake a goon image. Rick Ross standing next to him made the shit worse.
And if you gonna' sit up here and act like you don't know the difference between a weak ass article in VIBE, which can be edited, is scripted, not live and furthermore, not on camera, then there is no point in arguing.
Your point is moot.
