Andre sings for women too. Cee-Lo does too. If you can interpret "Hey Ya" to be for dudes, then I guess. But Drake mostly sings his hip hop hooks anyway. He's still pop?
And singing for a female audience makes you pop? Since the fuck when? And what singer is making songs for dudes? I'm not dying to know what singers that are crooning to you, so you can effectively classify them as "not pop".
And oddly enough, you contradicted yourself in the very next post.
Or I'll talk to the retards calling him pop.
I.E., you guys.
Everyone and everything else seems to have no trouble classifying him under hiphop after all. And why is Hip-Hop all of a sudden not inclusive to "Pop Music"? Why is it now some derogatory category that you bitter ass niggas try to sweep people who are buzzing under? Was Lil Wayne "Pop" prior to Carter 3? Was Jay "Pop" prior to American Gangster? 10 years ago you could have put Pac and Biggie in the same melting pot.
Dang you went on his ass for the kill.
